A Groundbreaking Trial for Melbourne Starting January 1, 2025, the Livestock & Rural Transporters Association of Victoria (LRTAV), in collaboration with the Victorian Government, Transurban, and the City of Melbourne, will embark on an innovative 12-month trial to improve livestock transportation through Melbourne’s busy central roads. This landmark initiative will grant conditional access to the CityLink Burnley and Domain tunnels for livestock trucks—a first for Melbourne.
